Stepping into Purpose

There have been so many incredible individuals who have gone before us, stepping into their purpose to make a difference, shaping the world to what we know it today.

There are things we can all learn from these leaders, and there are so many attributes they have that have made them stand out. However, I want to focus on one attribute that these leaders had, which is pivotal to Stepping into your Purpose, - and that is the perseverance in faith!

Perseverance can be a hard task when we live in a world filled with negativity - especially towards Christianity and God. But one thing you can be sure of is that God is on your side! If our Creator called you and created your purpose, he intends for you to reach it. It might seem scary or bigger than you right now… and you know what, IT IS! But let me tell you a story of how the prophet Jeremiah came to be and how God called him and used him.

In Jeremiah chapter 1 (Jer. 1:9-14) we see that God is calling Jeremiah to be a prophet. Not only to his people but to the Nations. Scary isn't it? I know I would be terrified.  But our God is amazing and loving and goes above and beyond to encourage and equip Jeremiah for his purpose. To be honest, Jeremiah had a pretty big purpose, I mean to prophesy to the entire nation? That's huge! But God promised Jeremiah that He would never leave or forsake him.

From this story of Jeremiah, we can have the confidence that God intends us to reach our purpose, even if it seems difficult or scary. We can take the example of Jeremiah’s persistence to succeed with God and use it in our own lives! The enemy cannot touch what God has appointed, unless we give him permission. God has called you to your purpose because He believes in you and created you for that exact thing. He is  always with you and you have all of heaven in your corner! So get ready, keep moving forward and don’t listen to the enemy’s lies and discouragement. Persistence is the key to seeing your purpose come to life!

You, the person reading this, can and will be an individual this world needs, so take heart and listen to the promise God gave Jeremiah.

"'Listen Jeremiah! Everyone in this land-the kings of Judah, the officials, the priests, and the people will be against you. But today I am giving you the strength to resist them; you will be like a fortified city, awn iron pillar, and a bronze wall. They will not defeat you, for I will be with you to protect you. I, the Lord, have spoken. ” (Jer. 1:18,19  GNT)
